Welcome to California Thrift!
We are a family-owned shop built on community, creativity, and a whole lot of heart. What started with donations from our Instagram followers turned into our first tiny 1,000-square-foot shop which has grown into the vibrant store and café we have today.
Thanks to our amazing community, we’ve hosted local artists and musicians through our Indie Nook Sessions, added a café, Obscura Coffee, and even landed features in the news, where we’ve been written about and have won awards (Hidden Gem 2025).
Our outreach includes a voucher program connecting social workers and nonprofits with families who need clothing.
We’re beyond grateful for the love and support that has made this all possible. Please come by our shop, say hi, and be part of what we’re building together.
The California Thrift Experience:
- The Shop: This is our core. Our team works hard sorting through donations to find awesome secondhand items, clothing, home decor, and more, ensuring every visit feels like a fresh shopping experience.
- The Coffee: Need fuel while you shop? Grab a Seasonal latte or tea! We’ve partnered with Obsucura Coffee to bring you an in-store café like no other. Serving you a delicious cup with a friendly face every time.
- The Music: Join us, once a month, for a truly stripped-down, intimate music experience featuring local singer-songwriters. The Indie Nook Sessions are where we celebrate local music and community. We convert our cozy library area into a tiny stage, with seating, for an intimate one-of-a-kind show.
